Sammy’s Soft Play – General Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Sammy’s! To ensure a safe, clean, and calm environment for our community and our neighbours, all visitors agree to the following:
General Admission & Booking
-
Booking: We recommend booking in advance via Beyonk to guarantee your space. Walk-ins are subject to capacity.
-
Email & Communication: All adults must provide a valid email address at the time of booking. By booking, you agree to receive a confirmation and a one-time follow-up email regarding your session at Sammy’s Soft Play. You will have the option to unsubscribe from future marketing communications at any time.
-
Pricing: Prices may change at any time; however, the price at the time of your booking will always be honoured.
-
Session Times: Please arrive on time for your designated slot. You and your children must exit the play area by the end of your session to allow for cleaning and the next group to enter.
-
Upkeep: Please help us keep the space tidy by placing rubbish in the bins provided. To ensure safety, please keep all balls inside the ball pit. If there is a spillage, sickness, or any other mess, please alert the Sammy's team at reception or the cafe.
-
No Unofficial Parties: General sessions are for supervised play only. Birthday cakes, candles, balloons, party decorations, and party bags are strictly prohibited.
-
Right to Upgrade: If a group booking is deemed by staff to constitute an "unofficial party" (e.g., communal food sharing or decorations), we reserve the right to ask the group to leave without a refund or apply a £150 Party Supplement fee to the booking lead's card.
Shared Space & Yogarise Neighbours
-
Respect the Calm: Sammy’s shares a home with Yogarise. The entrance, reception, and cafe are shared professional wellness spaces. Please ensure children do not run or shout in the corridors or reception area.
-
Facilities: Please use the Soft Play toilet located in the corridor, directly outside the Sammy’s Soft Play internal doors.
-
Baby Changing: Baby changing tables are located in the Yogarise changing rooms. Soft Play guests with infants may use these for nappy changes only. We ask that you enter quietly and respect Yogarise clients. The changing room toilets and showers are strictly for Yogarise members only.
-
Toilet Etiquette: Children must be accompanied to the toilet. Please flush only toilet paper; use the bins provided for nappies and wipes.
Health, Safety & Hygiene
-
48-Hour Sickness Rule: Please do not visit if any member of your party has suffered from fever, vomiting, or diarrhoea within the last 48 hours.
-
Infectious Conditions: Guests with visible symptoms of Chicken Pox, Impetigo, or Hand, Foot, and Mouth must not visit until all sores have completely scabbed over.
-
Socks & Shoes: Socks must be worn at all times (adults and children). Shoes must be removed before entering play zones.
-
Equipment Safety: No sharp objects or toys are allowed inside the play equipment. Any accidents or spills must be reported to staff immediately.
Food & Drink
-
Hot Drinks: For safety, hot drinks are served in disposable sealable cups. Lids must not be removed in the play area.
-
Cafe: A variety of snacks and drinks are available for purchase at our cafe. We kindly ask that all food and drink (including packed lunches) be consumed in the designated seating areas only and all rubbish disposed of.
-
Nuts & Other Allergens: Our kitchen uses nuts and seeds (including peanut butter). We are not a ‘nut-free zone’. We cannot guarantee a nut-free environment for those with severe allergies due to the nature of our kitchen and the fact that outside food is permitted in our seating areas.
Supervision & Ratios
-
Supervision: Children must be supervised by a responsible adult (18+) at all times. Children are not permitted in the cafe or near the coffee bar unattended.
-
The ‘Baby Area’: The ball pit area is strictly for children under 18 months. Older children must not enter this area if babies are present. Any child over 18 months using this area may be asked to leave the centre, as this constitutes unsafe use of the equipment.
-
Recommended Ratios: 0-18 Months: 1 adult to 3 children | +18 Months-4 Years: 1 adult to 4 children | 5-8 Years: 1 adult to 6 children.
